1. Introduction

Welcome to the Academy of Wonder("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing and using our website, services, and resources, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Use of Our Website and Services

2.1 Free and Paid Services

  • Our website and many of our resources are free to use. However, we also offer certain paid services and classes. Prices for these services are clearly stated, and payment is required to access them.

2.2 Advertisements

  • We have paid advertisers on our site. We do not endorse the products or services offered by these advertisers unless explicitly stated.

2.3 Online Live Meetings, Clubs, Groups, and Support

  • Our groups, clubs, and online activities are not therapy nor should they be taken as therapy. These meetups are social in nature and should not be used in place of medical or psychological treatment. These meetups may be led by teachers and mentors who have been screened and passed extensive interviews and background checks.

  • Students should enroll in classes that align with their ages. No adults 19 or older may take classes with students 18 and under. Please enroll in the appropriate aged class.

  • Parents should enroll students. Students may not enroll themselves.

  • All students must turn on their cameras for a visual check in at the beginning of each class.

  • Students may not exchange personal information without parental permission.

3. Right to Withdraw and Cancel Services

3.1 Service Withdrawal

  • We retain the right to withdraw and cancel any services at our discretion. This includes the right to make financial transactions as necessary.

3.2 Service Availability

  • There may be times when our website is down or sessions may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will endeavor to inform you as soon as possible.

3.3 Refund Policy

  • If a session or service that you have paid for is cancelled, you will be entitled to a refund. Please contact us at academyofwonder@outlook.com for refund requests.

4. User Conduct

4.1 Prohibited Behavior

  • You agree not to engage in any unlawful behavior, hate speech, bullying, promotions, spam, or anti-LGBTQ posts or comments on our website and associated platforms.

4.2 Account Disabling

  • We retain the right to disable user accounts that violate these terms. This includes engaging in prohibited behavior as outlined in section 4.1.

5. Vendor Screening

5.1 LGBTQ Affirming Status

  • All vendors associated with the LGBTQ Homeschool Association have been screened for LGBTQ affirming status. We strive to partner only with vendors who align with our values of inclusivity and support for the LGBTQ community.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 No Warranty

  • Our website and services are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6.2 Liability Limitation

  • In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our website or services.

  • We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website and services after any changes constitute your acceptance of the new terms.
